Tisha B'Av (the ninth of the sacred calender month of Av) is a bittersweet date. It is bitter because it commemorates the destruction of the temples (both the temples Solomon and Herod built) and many disasters that befell our Jewish brethren, but it is sweet because it is prophesied to become a festival when God turns things around and makes things right when Israel and Judah are restored and repentant.
