The Traveller magazine/tabloid for backpackers and such, published in Jerusalem (now defunct, having served its purpose) and formerly available throughout Israel, especially in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa and Eilat (from one end of Israel to the other), ran a full-page article I wrote entitled: "Will Jerusalem Become an International City?"

The Jerusalem Post ('A Traveler's fanzine takes off' by Giden Keren, 07-08-96) reported:
'The one time The Traveller did run a political piece, it ruffled feathers with the local authorities. In 'Will Jerusalem become an international city?' by American writer David Ben-Ariel, readers were warned about a German-Vatican plot to take over Jerusalem, urged to take back the Temple Mount and dislodge 'as symbols of foreign occupation' Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.

'David Ben-Ariel was a nice non-Jewish guy with strong views and a great love for this country,' says Nick Day, 'but he probably was talking a bit too much when he should have kept his mouth shut.'

Following publication of that article, Ben-Ariel was arrested and locked up for a week [actually two] before being expelled from the country. Ever since, The Traveller has been a bit sheepish about accepting political material... /

Israeli investigative author Barry Chamish mentions my unjust deportation in his book Traitors and Carpetbaggers in the Promised Land and remarks at how the Israeli government OVERREACTED to my article. He feels that's why they deported me: exposing the German-Vatican plot to occupy Jerusalem! I think that's definitely part of it but that it's all involved with highlighting the plight of the Temple Mount suffering under Nazi-Muslim occupation.

With the procurement of thousands of "extras", German firms are helping the US Army in its military training for illegal combat missions in Iraq. The company "Firma DSS" in Rostock (Mecklenburg-West Pomerania) for example, is supplying civilians ("Civilians on the Battlefield") for maneuvers to prepare for deployment, in a war being waged in violation of international law. The "Firma DSS" prefers recruiting Iraqis, because of their knowledge of "traditions and habits" in the war zone. But also Afghans are being hired to play extras during the training for the deployment at the Hindu Kush. These maneuvers are being carried out on the Hohenfels (Bavaria) military compound, the second largest US military training center in Europe, after nearby Grafenwoehr. Washington is investing billions of dollars to expand both military installations. Hohenfels and Grafenwoehr are playing a central role in US planing for future combat missions in the so called war on terror. The German military (Bundeswehr) is also using these combat training centers to prepare for joint deployments.

Rowan's rants against Christian Zionism included an attack on the special relationship between the United States and Israel, deriding "the chosen-nation myth of America, meaning that what happens in America is very much at the heart of God's purpose for humanity."

If Williams read and believed the Bible, without traditional blinders, he would see that the nation and People of Israel (all Twelve Tribes of Israel) are instrumental in God's plan of salvation for all mankind. The Bible is an ethnocentric book, with a focus on the family of Jacob-Israel, however politically-incorrect.

Rowan's sloppy swill should give further reason for folks still steeped in Anglicanism, still wallowing in the mire of traditional Roman error, to distance themselves from such Babylon and return to the Faith once delivered to Jerusalem.

It appears Williams has lost his head attempting to appease his Muslim audience. Again among the prospective recipients of German military products are nations in warfare and crisis zones, among them Iraq (export volume 10 million Euros), Saudi Arabia (57 million Euros) and Pakistan (135 million Euros). The exports offensive is accompanied by influential measures at the EU level, intended to insure more contracts within Europe for the German arms industry. Berlin has been able to impose the former Defense Ministry's "director of the Arms Sector" as the new chief executive of the European Defence Agency, EDA. The efforts of German corporations to outdo their European rivals in military hardware production, is having a worldwide effect. Today EU nations are exporting, as much military hardware as the USA and Russia and are thereby significantly contributing to the global increase in the arms trade.

Some professing Christians need to stop trying to be more righteous than God and the early Church of God (1 John 2:4; Titus 1:16). No matter what excuse they throw up for the PAGAN festival of Saturnalia/"mass of Christ", it remains a PAGAN festival in God's sight (and in the eyes of those who love God's Word more than idolatrous ideas and tinsel traditions).

God hates it when folks mix some biblical truth with pagan error. It's SPIRITUAL ADULTERY. They adulterate, they pollute, the truth by mixing it with condemned paganism. Spiritually, they're whoring around with false gods and flirting with foreign religions.

Why not keep it simple and love and obey God and do as He says, rather than pagan Rome's thing? Forsake Babylon or suffer the consequences.

MACHIR AND AMERICA

An interesting fact is that:

THE NAME MACHIR IS RECALLED IN THAT OF AMERICA!

Machir was the first-born son of Manasseh son of Joseph (Genesis 50:23).
Machir was the forefather of the Gileadites (1-Chronicles 2:21).
The Phoenicians are believed to have visited AMERICA. According to Barry Fell the Phoenicians named it - "The Great North Country". The Hebrew Prophets predicted that in the end time the Lost Ten Tribes would return from the "North Country" (Jeremiah 31:8). The Prophets certainly were well acquainted with the Phoenicians some of whom were in effect Israelite Tribes. The Vikings later attempted to settle in North America and named it "MARKLAND" which is believed to mean "Land of Darkness"(1). Even so, Maruk (a permutation of Machir) and Mark (in "Markland") are not dissimilar. After the Vikings, the existence of America was realised by people in Britain including fishermen from the port of Bristol. Richard Ameryk, a Bristol merchant 1470's is now claimed to perhaps have given America its name. Ameryk was of Welsh ancestry and his family name originally was "Ap-Meryk", possibly denoting "Son of Machir".
The more commonly accepted explanation is that the name "America" comes from that of the Explorer, Amerigo Vespucci (1451-1512) also called "America" and (after 1507) "America" is said to have been named in his honor. At all events, the name Amerigo or "America" is similar to Medieval appellations ("Aimerico"(2), etc.) for a Jewish Prince of southern France whose proper Hebrew name (from which the Latinised appellations were derived) was "MACHIR". The name in Hebrew was also given as "HaMachiri".
In Biblical Hebrew "HaMachiri" literally denotes "The Sons of Machir" (Numbers 26:29) but it could also connote "That which Comes of Machir" and in this case it was applied as a nickname to Machir himself and then Latinised to sound something like "America"!
The Hebrew version is difficult for untrained westerners to pronounce (or even remember) and so was rendered in Early Medieval Latin as "Americo" or "Amerigo" and this name was later given to Amerigo Vespucci who gave his name to the land of America. It follows that the name AMERICA may well be understood to mean "Land of Machir" (or "Land of the Sons of Machir"), son of Menasseh.
The very name "Menasseh" in Hebrew (according to the Commentary of Rabbi Shimshon Raphael Hirsch) can mean delegated responsible representation and this is a fundamental aspect of the North American character. The USA was created when its early settlers declared "no taxation without representation" and fought against Britain for their Independence.
America was named after Machir.
Brit-Am supporter Benyamin Turkia (of Finland, now living in Jerusalem) pointed out that "Machir" in Hebrew can mean "Selling" or even simply the Principle of Capitalism.
The principles of Capitalism and Free Enterprise have also become part of the American character.
Note: It should be noted that in Rabbinical commentaries on the Bible and in Jewish tradition the meaning and origin of names is very important and this principle is supported by the Bible itself. Great emphasis is given to the meaning of names, e.g. the names of Abraham, Sarah, and Israel.

Zuckerman describes how Machir ("Aimericus") became a legend whose name was celebrated in the ballads of Southern France and neighboring regions.

Three years after the beginning of the serious dispute concerning the Deutsche Reichsbahn's role in Nazi deportations from all parts of Europe, the company's successor, the Deutsche Bahn (DB), with headquarters in Berlin, has yielded to international pressure and granted access to the premises of train stations for commemoration activities. The "Commemoration Train" will arrive Thursday Nov. 8, unimpeded in the Frankfurt main station and begin its 3,000 km journey through locations from where deportations were made. The train will be transporting an exhibition about the fate of more than 12,000 children from Germany, who had been carried off to death camps. European biographies remind of the murdered children and youth from formerly occupied states, estimated at more than a million. The "Commemoration Train" is sponsored by citizens' initiatives throughout Germany and is financed through donations. The German Ministry of Transportation, which, months ago, had been solicited for aid, has left all pleas unanswered. The inauguration of this unusual campaign, that has now prevailed over the explicit resistance of government institutions, has evoked the interest of foreign media...
