To listen to President Bush talk about what the parties must do in order to achieve peace, it makes you wonder what world he is living in. He may just as well have demanded that the lion graze with the sheep. This is what the prophet predicted will happen, but until it does one must be a lunatic to lock up a sheep with a lion and expect peace. In Israel insanity among our leadership seems to be a norm. One can hardly expect an American President to care more about Israel's security than the Israeli Prime Minister. But one is hard pressed to understand how any intelligent individual can expect to turn murderous terrorists into lovers of peace. Arafat may have won the Nobel Peace prize, but one needn't be a genius to know that he was always a terrorist. Abu Mazen is no different. Both he and Hamas want the same thing. The complete destruction of the Jewish State.

When Bush seems to be trying to bribe the Arabs by offering millions of dollars to Abu Mazen if he keeps away from Hamas, the fact is that he is denying authentic democracy. The greater majority of Arabs voted for Hamas. How dare Bush tell them that they picked the wrong folks? Any child can see that Bush is trying to force his agenda upon the parties without considering the likely consequences. Clearly Israel has always demonstrated her willingness to back down to America pressure, even at her own peril. But the Arabs have self respect and would prefer to fight to the death rather than submit to presidential dictates.

One needs to pinch himself to be sure his ears and eyes are working properly. Here in Israel we have a prime minister who is turning murderers loose and trying to convince us that this will bring us closer to peace. And they call us dreamers. Our new president, the prince of peace himself, has already had the chutzpa to tell the international press that Israel must eventually give away all of Judea and Samaria. Now it may well be that Peres truly wants peace. But certainly he is old enough to remember the blissful peace we once had before we ever redeemed Judea and Samaria. One is hard put to understand why we ever went to war in 1967 when the Arabs had all of these lands that Peres insists that we must give to them for peace.

And Netanyahu is the genius who suggested that Jordan be invited to send troops into Judea and Samaria ostensibly to protect us from Hamas. Since when did this former Prime Minister lose faith in the IDF? And he thinks he will get another chance to be Prime Minister.

We are getting to the point where even the most absurd concepts are being accepted as normal and reasonable. The very survival of our nation appears to be under grave threat by our own leaders. All likely contenders for the office of our next Prime Minister are cut from the same cloth and promise no improvement.

Clearly redemption is closer than ever. When the majority of Jews finally realize that none of our leaders is able to help us they will turn in desperation to our Father in Heaven. They will begin to understand that the only explanation for our very existence is owing to His infinite mercy and personal protection. Then we will return unto Him in penitence, prayer and supplication and seek to serve Him by observing His Law. Then we will become worthy of His miracles which will permeate the world and fulfill the prophesies which have yet to come to pass. He will send us one True Jewish Leader who will lead us in battle and return genuine Jewish pride and fear of G-d to our nation.

To the Editor of The Blade:
In the December, 1981, issue of Harper's magazine, author Luigi Barzini wrote in his article, "The Americans":
"The United States is... a great nation, in many ways the greatest nation of all times... Very few imitators have understood that the secret of the United States' tremendous success... was a spiritual wind... an all-pervading religiousness, later the sense of duty, the submission to a God-given code of personal behavior..." These godly ethics, Mr. Barzini noted, are now "feebler, discredited by intellectuals, corroded by the doubts of these impious times, but without them, or what is left of them, America would not be what it is."
Significantly, President Reagan has proclaimed 1983 as the Year of the Bible. Yet how many are aware of this? Or care? All patriots should lend their support to counteract America's frightening downfall.
Clearly our government apparatus is sick and our national morale faints. May God bless America with healing and heeding the encouraging words of 2 Chronicles 7:14 that President Reagan's hand was upon during his inaugural oath.
As the United States of America we can truly make 1983 the Year of the Bible.

There Is A Conspiracy

A reader's letter intrigues me. He writes, "I find everything you say about a coming New World Order and One World Government extremely difficult to believe. For one thing, while you yourself obviously display no hate towards anyone, most other conspiracy theorists are anti-Semites." He further wrote, "An intelligent man such as yourself would do well to distance yourself from these loony theories."

I will quickly acknowledge that unfortunately there are a significant number of conspiracy theories promulgated by people with obvious anti-Semitic tendencies. I join my reader friend in repudiating such bigotry.

However, just because certain conspiracy theories are advocated by people with personal agendas and extremist ideologies is not reason enough to automatically dismiss the facts that suggest there is a conspiracy to steal America's sovereignty and independence. These facts are plentiful and powerful. Only foolish people would dismiss them out-of-hand.

As a Christian, I believe the Word of God to be my source of faith and practice. Therefore, I must take seriously the Word's admonition that, "There is a conspiracy" (Ezek. 22:25). In fact, the conspiracy to overthrow righteousness (and any semblance of it) is ubiquitous.

Furthermore, if one will study American history, he will note our Founding Fathers firmly believed a conspiracy of influential internationalists was behind many of the draconian decisions of old King George. They said as much in the Declaration of Independence.

In the Declaration, Thomas Jefferson wrote, "But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security." If that isn't a clear reference to conspiracy, I don't know what is.

As in British-controlled America 200 years ago, policies advanced by like-minded politicos today attempt to erode our constitutional laws and national independence. Only a naive person would suggest that this is mere coincidence. I remind my readers that George Bush, Sr. first popularized the name "New World Order." However, he is not the only notable personality that has openly called for such an international order.

Former newsman, Walter Cronkite, has openly called for world government. Others calling for world government include England's Prime Minister, Tony Blair; former Clinton cabinet member, Strobe Talbott; and a variety of spokesmen for the United Nations, as well as leaders from various multinational corporations.

To think that all of these people (whose numbers are multitudinous) should not be taken seriously is the height of idiocy.

Yes, my friends, there is a conspiracy. No, it is not a Jewish conspiracy. It is much more than that. It is a conspiracy of elitists from all races and ethnic backgrounds who deeply despise our constitutional form of government, our national independence, and our Christian heritage. Some are communists; others are socialists. Some call themselves liberals, and some even call themselves conservatives. Labels mean little.

Most of the conspirators are wealthy and well positioned to advance their utopian ideas. Some teach in our nation's colleges and universities. Some occupy powerful positions in the media and in our political institutions. Some of them are also found behind the pulpits of churches, and, yes, some are found in synagogues.

The promoters of internationalism may not conduct monthly meetings. They may not carry New World Order membership cards in their wallets (albeit, if they are members of the Council of Foreign Relations, people who love liberty should be very wary of them), but collectively they form a credible conspiracy to rob America of its independence.

Furthermore, as long as patriotic Americans refuse to acknowledge their existence, the more effective they are at accomplishing their oligarchic objectives.

Is the pope Catholic?


Why all the fuss about the Bavarian Pope stating his beliefs? At least he is telling the plain truth about official Roman Catholic teaching -- even if he's in grave error and spewing religious lies, according to the Bible.

Those drunk on the ecumenical spirits, who are in a state of shock or confusion, staggering over his statements, expose they've either been misled by the Vatican or in a stupored state of denial, having fooled themselves that reconciliation between the Catholic Mother and Protestant Daughters was a two-way street rather than a one way street back to Rome and its dead end.

The Roman Catholic Church is not the Church Jesus Christ founded on the holy day of Shavuot/Pentecost. The Roman Catholic Church is the Babylonian Mystery Religion in Christian drag, and they do well to call themselves Catholic because they're not Christians! That's right - Catholics are not Christians. To state anything less is to endanger folks who fail to recognize the seriousness of religious sins or discern doctrines of demons.

The Roman Catholic Church is the apostate organization of those who fell away from the original Sabbath-keeping Church of God. The RCC represents those who became prey to wolves in sheep's clothing and were misled from the Faith once delivered to Jews in Jerusalem, even though they were warned by Peter, John, Jude, Polycarp, Polycrates and other witnesses. Rome is foreign to Jerusalem and anathema to Christ!

Throughout history, the true Church of God has always been the "little flock," the chosen few -- never the majority. The legitimate Church of God's succession is revealed by faithfulness to biblical doctrines (easily proven by noble "Bereans") -- not by a pompous parade of pagan men who blindly follow idolatrous traditions and engage in identity theft, in a massive fraud, a counterfeit Christianity that pollutes the holy name of Jesus Christ and misrepresents God (Rev. 12:9).

It appears the German-Jesuit pope is determined to discipline, and in the unholy spirit of the Inquisition and Crusades is clearly gearing up for battle and drawing lines in the sand and is prepared to crack the whip -- whether it's his tongue (like his stinging rebuke of the EU as "apostate" over their refusal to acknowledge Catholicism's contributions to Europe in their Constitution) or Caesar's sword.

 Watch for the pope to promote a man after his own heart to govern Europe and wield whatever force is necessary to stabilize the world -- even if it means going ballistic.

My Church of God experiences

The Sabbath-keeping Church of God is to teach the plain truth of the Bible whether folks believe it or not. It is our responsibility to share what we know and what folks do with such precious knowledge is between God and them.

I was a baptized member of the Worldwide Church of God when Herbert W. Armstrong was alive. Since Mr. Armstrong's death, January 16, 1986, there has been a monstrous betrayal of the brethren by Protestant wolves who were among us, resulting in those faithful to the truth of the Bible (over traditional error) fleeing that present corrupt organization of deceived and deceiving men to new congregations and organizations that reflect and teach our biblical views.

There has been, as with every group or organization that undergoes changes, strong disagreements within the Church of God on how best to continue with what we are convicted is the plain truth of the Bible, but we all basically agree on our foundational doctrines.

Useful idiot for ANC now Zionist

It's sickening to see how my "distant relative" Stan Goodenough, who I met in Jerusalem and discussed how we're both related to John and Priscilla Alden (Mayflower Pilgrims), and how we both do what we can to bless Judah, was a useful idiot for the ANC as some liberal Jews in Israel are for the Nazi-Muslims with their "Peace Now."

I certainly don't approve of everything about apartheid, but I would prefer it any day over the godless ANC and so would Stan if he faced the fact that South Africa is part of our biblical inheritance.

White men and women of good will could have prevailed and made the necessary changes without throwing the baby out with the bathwater and inviting the disaster of the atheistic Communists.

However, the Word of God that such traditions woefully ignore reveal that God has given the holy days to Israel to share with the whole world as they represent God's plan of salvation for all mankind, even as the Third Temple will be a house of prayer for all peoples with no mention of division in Ezekiel between Gentiles and Israelites any longer.

A House of Prayer for All Peoples?

As for the Sabbath, it has been in existence since Creation and Adam and Eve were not Jewish! Just like the dietary laws have been in existence since Creation with Noah taking into the Ark clean animals by seven and unclean animals by two. I prefer the Word of God over Jewish or "Christian" tradition. The prophecies also reveal that King Messiah will command ALL nations to keep the biblical festivals of the LORD or suffer the consequences. This truth is completely contrary to traditional Jewish law and "Christian" tradition.

Hostility Against "Jewish Holidays" to be History!

Actually, the Anglo-Saxons and white peoples of Northwestern Europe are not Gentile - we are Gentilized Israelites. By the grace of God, I am helping to restore our Israelite identity and return our "Lost Ten Tribes" to the biblical ways and holy days and encouraging all to move beyond Babylon.

The Jewish political and religious leaders ought to recognize Joseph and call out to us to join in biblical celebrations in Jerusalem before our Great Creator God like King Hezekiah nobly did.

Jude 1:3
I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints [in Jerusalem, not Rome].

6 Then the runners went throughout all Israel and Judah with the letters from the king and his leaders, and spoke according to the command of the king: "Children of Israel, return to the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel; then He will return to the remnant of you who have escaped from the hand of the kings of Assyria. 7 And do not be like your fathers and your brethren, who trespassed against the LORD God of their fathers, so that He gave them up to desolation, as you see. 8 Now do not be stiff-necked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves to the LORD; and enter His sanctuary [this includes the Land of Israel where Israelite representatives ought to be encouraged to move to], which He has sanctified forever, and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of His wrath may turn away from you. 9 For if you return to the LORD, your brethren and your children will be treated with compassion by those who lead them captive, so that they may come back to this land; for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him."

10 So the runners passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, as far as Zebulun; but they laughed at them and mocked them [often this is the same response the servants of God receive today by our proud and stubborn Israelite peoples who prefer their Gentile traditions to biblical truth and by smug Jewish brethren who want to remain exclusivist]. 11 Nevertheless some from Asher, Manasseh, and Zebulun humbled themselves and came to Jerusalem.

I did not know that you had Jewish cousins, but I saw that a family named Israel Ort was in your vicinity on previous census records.

Israel Ort is my great Grandfather on my father's maternal side. I'm at a standstill on my father's paternal side - the Hoover's. My great great Grandfather Abraham Hoover took off with the maid (and left his wife Anne Creeger behind) and has never been found. Some relative contacted me and said he was born in Pennsylvania and such but it doesn't appear sure.

As for this mortal life, I am "gay" (against my religious beliefs) and have AIDS, so it's not likely I'll have any sons or daughters although I would consider such tremendous blessings - unlike so many "sperm donors" (they're not fit to be called fathers as they're not involved in their children's lives and have merely impregnated women).

I pray for you that you will be protected from harm and will prosper and grow in your spiritual path to Hashem.

Recapturing the Spirit of Independence

This week Americans will gather around the grill, attend parades and watch fireworks displays, all in the celebration of the signing of our Declaration of Independence. At the same time, we will have thousands of bureaucrats, troops and agents stationed in countries across the globe being paid by American tax dollars.

On the anniversary of our declaring our own independence from the British, it is certainly appropriate that we reflect on the nature and spirit of independent nationhood. While our founding fathers were individual men in a historically unique situation, they posited that the principles upon which they rested our national independence were timeless.

If we truly honor the men who brought about Independence Day, we would do well to spend at least as much time reflecting on the Declaration of Independence, and the principles upon which it is based, as we spend at the cookouts, parades, and fireworks displays. With the trend toward globalism that has been with us for the past century, we should be specifically thoughtful about how our celebration of independence can be made consistent with the policies that have been advocated by the American government -- as well as many of the nation’s elite— or what we used to call the Eastern Establishment.

I believe there is no way to square our nation’s traditions and reverence for independence with the globalist policies these elites are currently pursuing. The American concept of independent nationhood inscribed in our Declaration cannot be maintained if we are going to pursue a policy that undermines the independence of other nations. National independence is an idea, and the erosion of the independence of other nations only serves to erode that idea.

At the same time, if we allow the erosion of that idea, by ignoring it in certain instances, we will be contributing to its erosion in all times and nations, even our own. In this way our nation’s independence is linked with the independence of all nations. The sooner we realize this truth, and enact a foreign policy that is consistent with it, the sooner we will be able to recapture the spirit of independence.

In addition, as our founding fathers understood, the idea of national independence is inseparable from that of constitutional republicanism. Only the safe-guards and limitations that are enshrined in a constitutionally-limited republic can prohibit a nation from lurching toward empire. Recognizing these same protections is also the very best way to eliminate the need for civil wars and the violence of civil strife.

Moreover, this constitutional republicanism is essential to protecting the individual rights and self-determination that is at the heart of our Declaration. As we celebrate the 231ist anniversary of our nation’s birth, I hope every person who reads or hears this will take the time to go back and read the Declaration of Independence. Only by recapturing the spirit of independence can we ensure our government never resembles the one from which the American States declared their separation.

Sir, - Mass expulsion of Palestinians without howls of protest and world condemnation? Yes, but unfortunately, only in the Gulf States. The UN obviously understands that such decisive acts are preventive measures to ensure national security from subversive elements who flout their support for their blood-brother Saddam Hussein.
If only Israel would express such logic and concern for its personal health and national welfare...
